Usually, many visitors opt to drive to Kruger National Park in their own vehicles, while some, particularly international tourists, prefer flying to nearby destinations and then hiring a vehicle. Daily flights connect Johannesburg to Skukuza Airport, Phalaborwa Airport, Hoedspruit Airport, and Kruger/Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), situated between Nelspruit and White River. Skukuza also has daily flights from Cape Town. KMIA receives daily flights from Durban and Cape Town, with an additional flight from Cape Town to Hoedspruit. For those flying into KMIA, there's a private bus shuttle service to Kruger National Park that takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. For a more luxurious experience, there are also coach tours available.
